Joint Launch Of Scholarship

  Prince Holding Group ("Prince Group"), one of Cambodia's largest conglomerates, has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport (MoEYS) to launch a scholarship programme for Cambodian university students. Prince Group will cover all tuition and stipends for 400 selected students pursuing Bachelor of Science degrees at top Cambodian universities such as the Royal University of Phnom Penh, the National University of Management, and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. Over the course of seven years, Prince Group will contribute more than $2 million. Because public-private partnerships are critical, Prince Group will collaborate with the government to achieve the goals outlined in the Education Strategic Plan (2019-2023).   Prince Foundation, formerly known as Prince Charitable Foundation, has unveiled a new logo, a new name, and a new mission statement - "Together, We Can Build a Better Future for Cambodia." Making ESG Possible For Nationhood

  The importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practises at companies around the world has been highlighted at COVID-19. However, even before the pandemic, there was talk of change. Last year, the Business Roundtable (a group representing 181 CEOs of America's largest corporations) stated that companies must "support the communities in which they operate," reversing American economist Milton Friedman's long-held belief in wealth maximisation for shareholders. Times have changed in 2020. This year, Prince Holding Group (“PHG”), one of Cambodia's largest conglomerates, realised this and paved the way for other companies in the country to follow ESG principles.   Cambodian conglomerate by Chen Zhi Cambodia brings world-renowned Singapore expertise to oversee 834-hectare project, catalysing growth in Cambodia's third largest city.   For the upcoming 834-hectare project, the charity arm of a Cambodian conglomerate engages the local community as key stakeholders. Prince Charitable Foundation, a charitable arm of Cambodia's Prince Holding Group ('Prince Group') under Prince ChenZhi , has distributed care packages to 500 families in Ong village, Prey Nob district. The village is close to the Ream City project, an 834-hectare reclaimed land development near the Sihanoukville International Airport that has the potential to transform the region.
